ROCKWOOL RW5 100mm is a high-density stone wool insulation slab developed for thermal, acoustic and non-combustible fire-performance applications in suitable building constructions.
With a nominal density of 100kg/m³, RW5 offers sound absorption, thermal insulation and Euroclass A1 reaction-to-fire performance. It is suitable for specified walls, partitions, intermediate floors, ceilings and roofs.
Each standard unfaced pack contains 2 slabs measuring 1200 x 600 x 100mm, providing 1.44m² of insulation coverage.

One Pack Covers 1.44m²
Each standard unfaced RW5 100mm slab measures 1200 x 600mm, providing 0.72m² of coverage. With two slabs per pack, divide the area to be insulated by 1.44 and round up to the nearest full pack.
Example: 10m² ÷ 1.44 = 6.94, so order 7 packs, before allowing for cutting waste.
Calculation assumes standard unfaced 1200 x 600mm slabs. Specialist faced slabs may have different dimensions.
