Stone Wool – Non-Combustible Thermal & Acoustic Insulation for Demanding Environments

Our Stone Wool Collection features high-performance mineral-based insulation products designed for superior fire resistance, thermal control, and sound absorption. Manufactured from volcanic rock such as basalt, stone wool (also known as rock wool or mineral wool) offers exceptional durability and safety for industrial, commercial, and residential applications.

Material Composition & Performance

Stone wool is created by melting natural stone at high temperatures and spinning it into dense, fibrous mats. This structure provides:

  • Low thermal conductivity: typically around 0.035–0.040 W/m·K
  • Excellent acoustic absorption: ideal for noise-sensitive environments
  • Non-combustibility: Euroclass A1 fire rating
  • Water repellency: resists moisture without compromising insulation value
  • Dimensional stability: maintains shape and performance over time
