Material Composition & Performance
Stone wool is created by melting natural stone at high temperatures and spinning it into dense, fibrous mats. This structure provides:
- Low thermal conductivity: typically around 0.035–0.040 W/m·K
- Excellent acoustic absorption: ideal for noise-sensitive environments
- Non-combustibility: Euroclass A1 fire rating
- Water repellency: resists moisture without compromising insulation value
