Description
Arrow RL100 Rivet Tool
A practical manual rivet gun for joining sheet metal and fitting aluminium and Aluzinc insulation cladding. A useful addition to the toolbox for insulation contractors, M&E installers, HVAC engineers, maintenance teams and fabricators.
The Arrow RL100 combines durable steel construction with a spring-loaded handle and comfortable vinyl grip for straightforward manual riveting. Its changeable nosepiece allows the tool to accept common rivet diameters including 1/8", 5/32" and 3/16".
Our 3.2mm x 12mm Aluminium/Steel Insulation Fixing Rivets are a natural companion product for cladding installation. A 3.2mm rivet is the nominal metric equivalent of the RL100's 1/8" rivet size.

How to Use the Arrow RL100 Rivet Tool
-
1
Position the materials. Fit and overlap the cladding or sheet-metal components in their required final position.
-
2
Mark the fixing point. Mark the position of each rivet so the fixing pattern remains neat and consistent.
-
3
Drill the fixing hole. Drill through the overlapping materials using a hole size suitable for the rivet being fitted.
-
4
Select the correct nosepiece. Set the RL100 nosepiece to match the diameter of the rivet being installed. For a 3.2mm rivet, use the nominal 1/8" size.
-
5
Load the rivet. Insert the rivet mandrel into the tool, then place the rivet body fully through the prepared hole.
-
6
Set the rivet. Keep the tool square to the fixing and squeeze the handles firmly. Repeat the action if required until the rivet sets and the mandrel breaks away.
-
7
Check the finished joint. Make sure the rivet head is seated firmly against the cladding and the joint is secure before moving on to the next fixing.
