Always match the adhesive or sealant to the insulation material and operating environment. Standard Kaiflex ST systems typically use Kaiflex 414, while EPDMplus applications require the appropriate Kaiflex EPDM adhesive. Halogen-free systems may require Kaiflex 494 HF.
For specialist industrial, cryogenic or high-performance applications, check the relevant Foster product specification before installation. Consider operating temperature, substrate compatibility, internal or external exposure and the required joint or vapour-sealing performance.
