What are Kaiflex ST Tubes?
Kaiflex ST Tubes are closed-cell elastomeric insulation tubes made from synthetic rubber foam. They provide efficient, durable and sustainable thermal and condensation insulation for pipes in commercial building applications.
In which forms are Kaiflex ST Tubes Available?
Kaiflex ST Tubes are available in a range of insulation wall thicknesses from 9mm to 50mm and standard lengths of 2m, covering pipe sizes from 1/4" to 4" diameter. The anthracite colored foam tubes feature very low thermal conductivity, high resistance to water vapor diffusion and are fiber-free for exceptional hygiene standards. They are also available as self-sealing tubes.
What Ratings and Certifications do Kaiflex ST Tubes Have?
Certified for outstanding fire performance, Kaiflex ST Tubes are self-extinguishing and meet Euroclass B fire rating along with Class O and Class 1 surface spread of flame classifications. The flexible closed-cell foam structure resists the ingress of moisture, preventing corrosion under insulation.
What Applications Are Kaiflex ST Tubes Valid for?
Suitable for both hot and chilled water pipes, Kaiflex ST Tubes provide reliable long-term thermal insulation over a wide temperature range from -50°C up to +85°C. The elastomeric foam tubes comply with EN 14304 standards and carry CE marking.
Where can Kaiflex ST Tubes Be Used?
With their combination of proven quality, safety, sustainability and versatile application, Kaiflex ST Tubes represent the ideal solution for insulating pipes in high-traffic commercial and public buildings.
