Product Applications

What Is HSR Heating Cable Used For?

The HSR range is designed for applications where electrical trace heating is required for freeze protection or temperature maintenance.

Water Pipeline Freeze Protection

SOLCO PYROELEC specifically lists freeze protection of water pipelines as an HSR application.

Process Temperature Maintenance

HSR is also specified for temperature maintenance within petrochemical and gas plants.

Hazardous Ex Locations

SOLCO PYROELEC lists the HSR range for suitable hazardous Ex applications.

Self-Regulating Technology

How Does HSR Self-Regulating Cable Work?

HSR changes its thermal performance in response to temperature and provides independent heat-output control along the cable.

1

Temperature Changes

The heating requirement changes as the temperature around the cable changes.

2

Cable Self-Regulates

HSR changes its thermal performance automatically in response to the temperature around the cable.

3

Independent Heat Output

Heat output is independently controlled along the length of the heating cable.

Manufacturer-Confirmed Features

HSR Key Features

Self-Regulating Output
