Armaflex External Use Pipe Insulation is a high-density, industrial-grade FEF insulation designed for elevated temperatures. It has enhanced temperature capability and a built-in water vapour barrier that reduces the risk of corrosion under insulation (CUI).

One of the key features of Armaflex External Use Pipe Insulation is its ability to retain its physical characteristics throughout its service life, which helps to minimize maintenance and repair costs. It has a low leachable chloride content of less than 30 ppm, which helps to minimize stress corrosion cracking (SCC).

In addition to its durability and corrosion resistance, Armaflex External Use Pipe Insulation has a low thermal conductivity to minimize energy losses. It is also mechanically robust and has a high density for superior stability.

Armaflex External Use Pipe Insulation is compliant with ISO 15665 Classes A to C and Shell DEP 31.46.00.31-Gen Class D when used as part of a system.
