The SOLCO PYROELEC Smart-PRO is an electronic temperature controller designed for freeze protection and temperature maintenance applications in non-hazardous locations.
Smart-PRO is designed for higher-specification trace heating applications and combines an accurate 4-wire PT100 temperature sensor, continuous fault monitoring, off-site programming capability and a wide temperature-setting range.

How Smart-PRO Works
Measure Temperature
A 4-wire PT100 sensor provides temperature measurement for the controller.
Control the Heating
Smart-PRO provides ON/OFF control of the trace heating circuit according to its programmed temperature settings.
Monitor the Circuit
The heating circuit is actively monitored continuously. If a heater fault is detected, Smart-PRO generates an alarm.
Apply the Programmed Response
The heating circuit can be programmed to remain switched OFF following the relevant condition, which is the default setting, or to remain switched ON permanently.
